About that tour... -Paul 01/31/2001

...and the ten real worlders that will entertain you for the night, wow what a treat.

Don't know the specifics, but I will inform later.

You can get tickets on line. Just goto "www.ticketmaster.com" then "venues", select "new york" as the state, then enter "real world" in the box. They don't offer any information on what the tour is about, but I believe they are each going to express different viewpoints and have an open forum.

There you've got the insight, and all while danny is asleep...

There is nothing better than the experience of a lifetime. They'll grow up in an environment of acceptance. Open minded and at such a young age...

God and me... -
Paul 01/31/2001

...have an awesome relationship. I know people of thought have a theory that personal gods are how the masses are justifying evildoing...

Myself, I'm into faith. God to me is a mixture of both. What I learn from my upbringing (personal) and how I apply that to my personal thought (faith). It keeps the sinning down to a minimum. It's also good to know that God does not expect me to be perfect, relieves the pressure a little and doesn't give me a license for stone-throwing.

I would say that I'm relatively a good person, though others may think otherwise.

Paul

How about you?

Has this board... -
Paul 01/31/2001
...reered its ugly head?

Not again, I hope. How is everybody this fine night. Looks like some people are having some identity problems. Things are fine on the home front, happy and in bliss. Danny has been traveling a bit, Oregon, Washington State and Chicago, Illinois. Talk about doin' the U.S. tour. Wish it were in Europe, now that's adventure.

Nothing in the news worth mentioning. Prayers out to the earthquake victims. What was it...78 hours, buried in rubble. Think of that the next time you're stuck in rush hour traffic. You have it better than most.

Enjoy the national forests when you have the opportunity, some of the species out there won't be able to in the near future. The earth will get rid of us when she sees fit...gives you an idea of how small we really are. I say this knowing that I am not the one chaining myself to a tree (comfortable and unbound). Though I think there's no stopping Danny.

What do you think?

Paul

About gay people parenting kids...

Our friend "Rone" was raised by two women in love. They in turn shared this with their son. He is one of the most well-rounded and intelligent humans I have ever met in my long life. There are many kids out there who will never experience a love like this. I believe that no matter what the dynamics of the family are, if the child is loved, he or she is much better off than the so many that are not (loved that is...).

Info on Danny (thanks PLH)... -Paul 01/24/2001

...he is speaking at Western Oregon University tonight. After that it's back to me. Las Vegas was about 3 weeks ago, you can see the episodes of "Say what Kareokee" on MTV right now. Though I don't recommend it.

I usually post alot when 'd' is away, you should check out "kells" site if you were looking for danny's past posts,it's great.

I think the web address is

www.anglefire.com/celeb/rwno/danny/

About that danny and the a&f clothes, do you know something i don't?

p.s. about giving the VHBC post to kell, greatly appreciated PLH.

Virginia Highlands Baptists Church... -Paul 01/24/2001

...posted a message on the board, I hope Kell gets this one for the archives.

It's true we hardly did anything but put a few items on ebay. It was all of you that did the contributing. Personal thanks to EVERYONE, Michelle (she bought both the shirt and the sweater) did alot (money-wise) for the church. She will get even more in returns. We just wish we could do more.

Can you put a price on acceptance and and the feeling of family? We have alot of problems, ask yourself if you're doing your part to solve them. Personally I'm falling short.

My love and prayers to each of you...

Paul

Thanks you! -Virginia-Highland 01/24/2001
Thank you!!!

To everyone who bid and bought items from Danny's auction, thank you soooo very much. The money will be used to renovate the Sanctuary at Virginia-Highland Baptist Church. We are overwhelmed by the response and the support that we are receiving from all across the country. We are grateful to Danny for telling our story and for letting the world know that there are inclusive, accepting, and affirming churches that are seeking to show the love for all persons. We are humbled by your wonderful generosity. Come see us in Atlanta!

Sincerely,
Timothy W. Shirley

Mutt, Liam and Jhune... -Paul 01/24/2001

...it's good to see all of you up and around.

Travis, you are in our prayers, hang in there. Didn't get the full spectrum of the board yesterday, so I'm speaking from ignorance. Just didn't like the feeling I got when I started reading.

Liam, the plans are still in order, but I have to admit I am a miser and I like to get right down to the point. London is expensive and would hate to spend the pound on something I can possibly get for free (hope that didn't sound forward). Also, hate to be in a place without the local experts either. There is nothing like spending some time in London, just to later find out I never left Gatwick.

Jhune tell me about yourself, I don't think you were included in the bio. Is there a picture of Liam floating around here? Lemee see.

Paul

Jhune:)... -Paul...it took me about five minutes to do that face thing.

Japan is great were you there or in okinawa. Used to live there as a wee lad. Good luck in your move, Las Vegas goes 10,000 miles a minute.

...what a way to start out the day, with a sunny bright happy note from London. Infectious attitude. You even have me doing it. Cheers to anyone that can make me write "sunny bright happy note".

How are things in your neck of the woods, did you partake in yesterdays slaughter?

Have that open room available or are you still living with the "rents"?

Paul

Good morning all... -Paul 01/24/2001

...another day, probably better moods. Just getting the "bad" vibe from yesterday.

Well another night sleeping on the couch, the bed is just not as comfortable with Danny in Oregon. To all those who saw him, you are luckier than I. I had to resort to watching him on that "Say what kareokee" (is that how you spell it?), which I recommend not doing the same. Do you ever get that embarassed feeling watching others...

He is in Oregon again today at a college 30 minutes away, Western Oregon or something.

Kell I saw that your in and out at one o'clock in the morning. What does one do at one o'clock on a tues?

For the author of the country to concrete bios, great resource. Brings some extra life into some of these names. Thanks (now go Europe).

Paul

By the way... -Paul 01/23/2001

...what is going on?

I see some of us are in a hurry to find love. Slow down, love will find you.

Look at me, not leading by example. You just might find he's the one in Orlando, at least you won't be looking at him through a screen.

Taking things a bit too far... -Paul 01/23/2001
...are we.

I hope the message board is not being used as a whipping post. Thick Skins we should be, but you never know what lurks in those devious minds...

You have to look at yourself and wonder.

What if...

...when you wrote your thoughts down, they were the same types of thoughts that were going through the mind of the author of "Mein Kamph". Could you excuse yourself knowing that you infuenced such hate. No matter how slight the chance may be, there still is a chance.

I am not saying hold your tounge (watch what you write), you're walking on egg shells, use your mind and walk around them. Intelligence is a gift given to all humans, be one of those people who use it. You'll find yourself in the minority.

With all that said, "...there is a future for hope." -Churchill

Paul

Mutt, so much talent... -Paul 01/22/2001

...all wasted on this board. Thanks for the rhyme, is hallmark in your future (only joking!).

About going places in Utah. Talk about against all odds. I say, if you're old enough to travel, GET OUT. That's advice for those who can actually do it. The reason so many people flock to places like nyc, atl, and sf is because you have the multitudes. Like a kid in a candy store there can be alot to choose from, if you like candy.

If you are still attached to the "rents" for support, you're headed in the right direction by going to the respectable organizations in the local area. Go on line, I'm sure many on the board can help you out on the names of a few sites. If there is a college in your vicinity, there should be a GALA (don't know any specifics, though). Use your instincs on the "others"... that warning light in your head is usually right.

Stay safe and do the right thing...

Paul

Does this happen often... -Paul 01/22/2001

the board at 207?

I guess some addicts are hopping back on the wagon. Hey all, just checking in to see if anything peaks my interests. Can't do this too often, wouldn't want to be pegged as a regular.

It is a shame that the guy from the band 2gether (is that right?) passed away. Nobody is untouched by cancer, I hope everyone is doing their part. There are many organizations that are doing some great things in this area. I do my part in monthly donations, I should do more. My grandfather and aunt recently passed away from pancreatic cancer (medical experts, help me out on this one). There's just so much we can do.

Sounds like life is really boring out there. Danny (military guy), be careful. People do some f*cked up things because of fear. Don't find yourself in an bad situation, but you're fortunate that you are in a great relationship (I am making an assumption). Finding that right person is not an easy thing to do.

The new president is going to make some drastic changes to our society, don't give up now just when we need you most. If you don't like the way things are, your voice can still be heard. That's what makes our nation great.

"America the beautiful, for amber waves of grain. For purple mountains..."

to Paul -Danny 01/22/2001

This is to a recent post from a guy named Paul (not my Paul)...so, Paul how do we deal with people who talk about us behind our backs? ummm, we're adults and we don't deal with people like that. There's really no problem with that actually. But, if someone were like that, then they don't deserve our time.

VHBC -Danny 01/22/2001

What's up everybody...The tally is finally in on the VHBC auction and i can now announce the final amount. Drum roll please.... $5200 went to Virginia Highlands Baptist Church this week thanks to all of you who bid in my auction. I appreciate you guys alot and i'm sure the folk at VHBC do as well. Hope you're all doing well. I'll be gone for a week and when i'm back, my next auction begins. I think i'm going to donate to Green Peace or another environmental group this go around. Talk to you soon.

It's good that you're on your way up, that's a good direction to head.

The car thing is not going anytime soon, he has to recover from the last auction. It will happen soon though and I think for greenpeace. Hopefully it will save a few trees in Alaska (got to get that fuel for those SUV's).

Has it been a long time... -Paul 01/18/2001

...since I have been on this thing? Addicts, for those of you that are...Things are going great at the home front. Danny is scheduled to go to Oregon for a couple and then off to Washington State. Ahh... the Pacific Northwest, what a great place to kick back your feet and get in touch with Mother Nature, if she allows it.

Haven't been reading the board so I am ignorant of the issues. I will read it soon, see if anything strikes a chord.

Viginia Highlands Baptists Church is finally going to get their check. Two people failed to pay their due and Danny was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Somethings you just have to chuck up to human nature, there are always those bad seeds. I think I will put the money down, it's for a good cause ($500.00 in those two items alone). That one's going to hurt. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Don't fret this Bush thing, what you do have to fret is if you didn't vote. You don't have any say in the matter, so stop the #####ing!!!! I did vote, so just try and shut me up!!!

Weekend fanatics... -Paul 01/13/2001

...just another boring weekend for all of us, don't you think? Just wanted to say "hi" and to see how everyone is doing.

Nothing really interesting to say, that's a first.

Danny is doing fine and is breaking before the year gets really busy.

For some of you that wanted to know if there was going to be a time to actually meet some of the cast (Danny included) without bothering with the remote college scene or the bustle of a casting call, the group of them are taking part in a show in New York. I hear you can buy tickets for the thing through ticketmaster starting next week. As for the details, don't know and I am even being bold mentioning this (I think I could get into trouble). I think its supposed to kick off on the 17th of Feb. 2001.

Should be interesting to see that.

You can also see him in the Gap spring campaign, all over, look for it.

The "say what kareoke" shows (is that how you spell it?) are airing this month and next month.

Except for the college tour, thats about it. Hope thats some good info for those of you who were wondering.

I'll be reading some posts until I find something interesting, I think I have a 50/50 chance.

Coming out -Danny 01/11/2001

hey to all of you out there...
In light of last nights MTV movie, i justed wanted to convey a message to many of you, especially those of you who are young and still in highschool. I have to say that i worry about many of you. From reading messages and letters over the past few months, it seems that many of you feel that you MUST come out immediately to all of those around you. You want to announce your sexuality to the world. It's a great feeling of freedom and joy, but please be careful. We are all in different situations and environments; and some of you are safer than others. These are volatile times and many of you aren't safe. Be careful and patient...as time passes, you'll know when the right time to come out is and who the right people are. Don't feel like you need to tell the world without reflecting. I just don't want to see any more Matthew Shepard stories on the news. take care of yourselves.
Danny

good night you all -Danny 00:01:31 01/11/2001

hey guys and gals...glad to see you all here. I just watched the movie as well and i have to give MTV some props for what they're doing. I have to admit that normally I'm not into what MTV has to offer, but they're right on tonight. I'm sorry about problems with the message board but i have no control over it and can't fix problems. I also just wanted to say thanks to Marc for filling me in on the Serenity Prayer. I almost had it right, eh? well, good night to you all, i have a man to cuddle. Courage to you all.

back -Danny 01/10/2001

what's up peeps...i'm back from L.A. Thanks to all of you who voted for us in the People's Choice, though we lost. No big surprise. Sorry about the board. I don't know what the hell is going on with it. Pro-boards is a #### joke! There will be a new board in the near future that wont suck so bad. Here's a quote for you all:

God granted me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change; the courage to change the things i can; and the wisdom to know the differece.

MTV, doing a good thing... -Paul 23:30:52 01/08/2001

...and for a whole month?!

Wednesday is the day for the Matthew Shepard story. Muddled in with all the breast implant, spring break with Jerry Springer and fanatic shows, is something that will touch each of us.

HATE.

Finally a subject about your life you can actually relate to , because you and everybody else has done it.

They didn't win, but the show went against Survivor (CBS). Advertised by CBS, voted for on CBS.com and hosted by CBS. I think you did very well and gave a major network a run for their money. I don't think you can ask for more. Thank you all.

Hey kids... -Paul 20:24:49 01/07/2001

...even you Ernie. I applaud you though, wouldn't even understand that era 26 years ago.

I have been voting away at the www.cbs.com site for the show. I do agree with you about survivor.

I hope nobody has been erasing their cookies from the Tools> Internet Options> Settings> View files> highlight both cookies before the cbs entries> delete. You would be doing something sneaky! Real fans can be fanatic, don't you agree?

Just got finished talking to Danny again. He's heading to the awards as we speak! He'll be wearing an Armani suit and looking good! I can't wait to see that. It's been a year and I've never seen Danny with suit!

Sasha (hope I didn't butcher that) is right, those crazy fans.

Billy you're a little late, been looking at it for some time now, we have a list and visit different sites often.

Kelley, what can I say, you are on top of things. Are you for hire as a webmaster?

Thibault, I am lucky but not as lucky as Danny is (haha).

We have added Liam and KC to our list, London and Scottland, look out. Europe is going to be a blast.

Take Care and all of you are worth your weight in gold. Thanks

Paul

Anyway just got finished voting for the RWNO at www.cbs.com (I am being a little sneaky though). The awards start tonight at 9 pm. I just got finished talking to him and he thanks you for all your support. He figures if he is wearing a tux, it better be for something.

I see some new people on the board, don't get addicted or you'll find yourself at 0300 in the morning with finger cramps and eye strain. Lack of sleep can seriously affect your sex drive.

That thinking tied an innocent to a fence and brought together a servant of our nation to the thick end of an aluminum bat. We are all humans. ...Kelley. Your brother was good at keeping us informed (once)! Hope everything is ok. Danny is heading out for LA today and is going to try to put on a tux for this peoples choice thing. The whole crew will be there! Check it out this Sunday, oh yeah don't forget to vote. If the entertainment sector is going to take him away from me for two days, they better #### well win (www.cbs.com). I think they're doing the same thing for tv guide (www.tvguide.com). Goin' to be one lonely boy. I guess I'll just fall off the wagon again and start posting on the board...look it's already started...

Hi my name is "Paul" (you can insert, thibault, kellner, junior, jamesiv, tony omega, priest raziel, and the list goes on..."here") and I am a board addict...

HI PAUL!

I can't believe I'm talking to myself (pathetic). Get out of here and enjoy the weekend!

P.S. What do you think...
Danny is selling the car that he has had since college (still driving that thing around now), personally delivered to the buyer with lunch, to help out the Sierra Club or Green Peace? Good or no good?

By the way the check to the Virginia Highlands Baptists Church is whopping! Still waiting for two people to send us their checks and this auction thing can be over with. It's been painful!

Bush...#### -Danny 01/04/2001

Ok guys, here's the situation-as we all know Bush is president. So here's how i look at it. At first i was upset and #####ed, but you know what...this is a perfect time to "wake up" and smell reality. I see this as an opportunity to make real change, to speak out, to come together. It makes me think of the 60's when people weren't happy with the situation, so what did they do? They all came together, bonded and spoke out for social change. Bush will be our chance to make that happen again. Clinton was great, but let's face it, life was relatively easy and we all became a little too comfortable. I have a feeling that many won't be happy with what Bush does in many realms, but we just can't ##### about it. We're going to have to do something about it. For me, i'm already planning to chain myself to a tree in Alaska when he gets ready to drill there...anyone want to join?

top o' the mornin' to ya...-Danny 01/04/2001

good morning everyone...hope you're doing well. Can't complain here. I see that Paul was busy on the board last night. You see, i fell asleep early so there you go. I just wanted to update you on my VHBC auction. I'm still waiting on some payments to come in, so i can't announce the final donation yet, but I can assure you the church will be happy. I'll let you guys know as soon as i can. also, we're still working on a new version of this site that should be up soon. Peace.

You sneaky little devils... -Paul 01/04/2001

...erasing cookies in your "internet options" (Tools). It's amazing at what lengths some of you will go. I've always believed that people put more effort into cheating than they do in the actual study process. There is a certain amount of respect I hold for them, though. I used to think it was a sign of laziness, but you have to be pretty intelligent to plan, execute and actually get away with it all.
Vote away!
www.cbs.com, the http is all over this board. Probably you can do better than the American public did in the past election (me included).
I just wanted to give you an update on what Danny is doing in the upcoming month. The first week in January, MTV's Real World the past ten years and the Viewer Choice Awards (thats what all this voting is about), it airs 9-11 this Sunday (7 Jan 01). The end of the month speaking engagements @ Linfield College in McMinnville, OR and Western Oregon University.
That's it for now, our prayers are with Kelley and we hope she is doing well. Paul
P.S. Brent, Danny and I read your post. We think that you already have all the strength you need to accomplish anything. Remember, in life you will experience more bad than good. Learn from the bad and celebrate the good, you'll never have an excuse for disappointment.

Mr. Villa-Real, great pictures of Danny and a great website. All those beautiful women, if I were only on that side of the fence. Anxiety attacks are pretty common, but when they're the ones in control... that's another story and only a professional can help, I'm underqualified.

Junior and Emily... -Paul 01/04/2001

...thanks for the concern, lack of sleep hasn't got the best of me yet. As for the face thing, how many people can say that they were the "blur". Emily, that whole 19 year navy thing (correct me if I'm wrong) but I think that's a little on the illegal side. What the hell am I saying, that's a lot on the illegal side! There's no rush in anything, although it may seem like everything is passing you by. Hang in there, life is so much more than that.

Happy 2001 -Danny 01/02/2001 20:09:58

Hey everybody, hope you all had a good New Year. Paul and I had an awesome New Year in a Lodge in the mountains. We just chilled, played Trivial Pursuit and hung out with a bunch of strangers. It was nice to get away. Now we're back and getting ready for a new chapter in our book. Last year was the best and i want to make this year better. Hey, to Kelley, I hope you're ok...best wishes. I'll be in L.A. this weekend for the viewers choice awards. Thanks to all of you who voted for us. 'till next time.
love,
Danny

Hope Kelley is alright... -Paul 01/02/2001 19:58:27

...after her tumble comming back from New Years. Dangerous times out there and that snow isn't making it easier. Our prayers are with her for a strong recovery.
The New Year is here and I hope everyone didn't make resolutions they never intended to keep.

Some good advice from an old friend, too bad at this point in my life I'm forced to make fifty!!!
The last year was good to us and it was nothing short of a tornado, but like I've always said, who wants to live like a "slight breeze". Life is too exciting this way, don't want to be boring.
This board election finds me second in charge (dual leadership doesn't work anyway) and I can live with that. Good luck for all the other positions, but I want the "board drunk" third in the order of merit. If we die, I want somebody fun in charge.
Paul
P.S. I see that we have some addicts form Ireland, Scotland and England we are heading there for the summer probably you can "put us up"?!?
