Happy New Year! -Danny 12/30/2000 11:30:35
To everyone....Happy 2001! be safe out there, no drinking and
driving....and please, careful with your "intake" of
"substances" if you choose that route. As for me, i was
reading the posts this morning and am always saddened by negative post
that judge me based on tid-bits of info from the show and the book,
especially the book. Reading and judging based on that book, well, you
might as well be reading a tabloid. As Paul said, there is so much more
to each of us you guys will never know. And as for me representing some
"dangerous new gay stereotype" Tony, man, i didn't know i was
the "butch football player type". I'd say i'm just more of the
nerd. Thanks for your input. take care everybody and have a good new
year! see you in 2001 for version 2.0.

Ring in the New Year...-Paul 12/30/2000 10:57:17
...and do it safely. Hey addicts it's me again and Danny is here, would
never of thought this would happen.
Just hanging out until we start travelling again. It's off to a mountain
lodge for New Years, nothing like getting away from the hustle and
bustle of the big city life. I see that most of the regulars are typing
their days away (thibault, don't people in France have something better
to do???). Joking of course. The new radicals, just opening up that
perverbial can of worms (it's good to have different view points).
"Critisizm, bad or good, can only come from what you know."
-Thoreau
My point of view is very different than yours. It's too bad your point
of view came from a book or an MTV show. There's just so much more, to
"ALL" of us. As you know, there's just no way of getting
around it. Impressions hold a "certain" amount of truth,
through experience you determine how much.
Enough philosophy, I really just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year
and Take Care.
Paul
P.S. Kelley the website is great, love taking that walk down memory lane
every once in a while. Love the quotes JamesIV, I kept some of them for
my personal favorites. I really want to address all of you and through
time I will.

hey everybody...go to www.shout-outs.com and check out the animated
e-greetings with drawings of my cast done by Lionel. They are so
awesome. It took me this long to finally check them out. Hey Lionel-good
job...hope you're doing well!

12/25/2000
hey, i just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas! Hope Santa was
good to everyone. Paul and I spent Christmas with my parents and are
going to a ski chalet for New Years to get the hell away! Take care.
I'll be posting the results of my VHBC auction next week. It looks good.

what's up everybody...it's me...sorry it has been so long since i posted
here, but i've been pretty damn busy lately with the holidays, work and
taking care of my boy. Things are good here on the front...i just wanted
to be the first to let you guys know that i'll no longer be working on a
career in Hollywood. Even though i was working with a great team of
people, especially my manager, i just can't see myself going there. The
whole process has been both rewarding and displeasing. It all just left
me feeling pretty out of touch and confused. I just came to the
conclusion that at this point in my life, i really want to be working on
using my abilities in a more positive way that rewards many. So, as of
now i'm currently working on a project with Kelley. Updates will be
coming pretty soon that will fill you guys in with more info, so be
looking for countrytoconcrete version 2.0 Plus, i'll be letting you guys
know in a couple of weeks what the results of my auction were. I'm still
waiting on the closing of a few more loose ends and then the final
collection is all heading off to Virginia Highlands Baptist in Atlanta.
They should be some pretty happy people! Merry Christmas to you
all....talk to you soon.

DANNY
That Seattleboys page... -Paul 12/16/2000
Hey Marc,
Great page, along with all the others. Just goes to show you that there
are all types out there and we should not limit ourselves to a single
definition. Difference is in everything, once people start understanding
that, I think we will start seeing less fear. "We are all the same
in the sense that we are so different". That quote from Wilde,
never understood it, but it seems so clear these days. Keep up with the
expression through your web sites, I think it's the way to reach people
these days.
Thanks for all your support for the Virginia Highlands Baptists Church.
Now is the time to support each other, there's alot of crazy s##t
(pardon my english) happening out there. Be safe and Happy Holidays,
Paul
new version... -Danny
12/14/2000
what's up everybody...it's Danny boy-fresh back from Vegas. I just
wanted to let you guys know that Version 2.0 of this website is coming
soon. Hopefully in the first week of January. I'm psyched and am sure
you guys are as well. Jenn is working hard on it and it should be more
interesting than what exists currently. I've heard there are rumors
about Kelley and Peter being married, pregnant, etc. Ha Ha...rumors
rumors rumors. they didn't seem to be when i saw them this weekend.
Jeez, people will believe anything. Anyhow, have an awesome day,
exercise your minds and bodies and spend some time outside. See ya.

Is it hot in here... -Paul
The questions you'll ask... I think some of them are just to insight
riots. Too bad I can't use CS gas over the board. A couple rubber
pellets thrown your way. I really am ok with everything written on the
board. If I took offense to it all, I guess you'd have to strap on the
straight jacket. The instant solution is to never subject myself, but
yet I write on. Questions are asked because, however remote, there is a
connection to something you have experienced or are going through at
this very moment. About that traveling Danny... the answer to the
million dollar question is "trust". I do with all my soul,
period, end of story. I really never disclose anything personal about
myself, other than my thought process and the ideas floating around in
this noggin' of mine. So questions about my age, ethnic background,
employment, and the similar, I just don't answer. Someday probably, but
I have never been comfortable with the public eye. So, to loose the
"blur" status would be like taking away my identity. How many
of you can say you were the "blur"?
There is nothing like travelling Europe and the British Isles. Hostile
to hostile by Eurorail, for thirty days. You don't get any better than
that. Watch out in what you offer though, you may have two nomads
leaching off you come this summer.
Danny is returning tonight and you have one happy camper on your hands.
Just remember to have a great holiday and buy yourself a couple of
things, SOME of you deserve it.
Take Care,
Paul
P.S. Checked out all the sites, some of them are definately keepers!
Reckless abandonment... -Paul 12/12/2000
... that whole British/European thing, Andy, I have a tendency to
butcher even the slightest details. Nothing like trying to erase
thousands of years of history. It's like being in Okinawa and calling
everyone Japanese. My apologies...
Yes, another lonely night of watching the Discovery and Learning
Channels. Sleep can't come fast enough. It's amazing how much time goes
by when you're sleeping.
You all really need to get back to your studying and stay off this
board, isn't it exam week for most colleges. Oh the life of daily
classes and final exams, how I miss it so. Christmas Break is decending
upon you and I know you can't wait for that to end. Before you know it
you'll be in some deep conversation on how good you had it in college.
Cherish it while you can. About that Virginia Highlands Baptist Church
fundraiser, thank you all.
Simple and sweet!
Take Care and get back to the daily grind,
Paul
On the contrary... -Paul 12/12/2000
...Raziel, we have seen your site and we thought it had a rather
interesting mix of manson and danny. Never seen that in the stew pot
before. I'm a true fan of Rollins, Rage, LB, and Korn (just to name a
few). By the way do you do this professionally? Your style is great,
true imagination. If anybody else is out there with a web site, We
always add it to a "favorites file".
Take Care and do all the things I wish I could do.
Paul
Hey its the random post again... -Paul
12/11/200 23:56:49
...this time I am heading for the sack. Staying up late is for the
birds. I was reading the posts on the board and felt like I needed to
say a few things, again.
Just finished talking to Danny and he is doing great. He is with Kelley,
Peter and Malissa in Las Vegas, but there seemed to be no flowing white
wedding dresses and no Elvis. I guess if they got married they're going
to take that bit of information with them to the grave.
I keep checking KeLL's site out and I am impressed. Those photos of
Danny crack me up, I think I only have one of them in my personal
collection. Now who sounds like the stalker (...that hidden alter I have
in the closet will never be found).
I remember what I was feeling when I wrote that letter, what a great
memory to revisit. He keeps my letters in a black binder, but I've never
looked at them. They're his, my soul in writing.
Mikey and the naval academy. My congradulations on being part of the
brotherhood of the academy's. The education you are recieving is worth
its weight in gold, literally. Just keep your head above water, do what
you need to do to survive. Don't lie, cheat or steal or tolerate others
that do. You can lead your life without violating these simple
principles. The military has to live up to their end of the bargain also
(they will, to the best of their ability). It's hard to separate social
from professional, but like I said, who wants to do anything easy.
Take care all of you in Europe (Jo, Andy and Thibault), I'm keeping
tabs, because of our trip next summer. Germany is a great place, try
Munich around the 2nd half of September (HB Haus). There is nothing like
Scotland and Ireland though, some of the most beautiful countryside I
have seen in my life (Dingle, Ayran Isles, and County Cork). Our feet
will be on that soil in no time.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane hope my dreams are just as good.
Take Care and Happy Holidays,
Paul
I'm getting good...-Paul
12/11/2000
I'm proud of myself, I edited my message. A sign of a true addict. Can
you send the edited version of the post to KeLL. I am a stickler for
perfection. In Europe they would thank me for thanking them (I guess
they were just happy that I took the time to learn phrases of courtesy).
I feel like doing it in this situation but I will abstain.
By the way that sweater went for $3,000, the bowl for about $850 and the
tan shirt he was wearing the last day at the Belfort for about $1,100.
Where do you get money like that and would someone point me in the right
direction?
Paul
Just so you know...-Paul 12/11/2000
...to the restless and sleepless many, this is a message from someone
that is loosing the battle. It's great to see that people can take time
out of their busy schedules and holiday shopping to do some good for the
less fortunate. Getting away from buying trinkets for that remote
relative that happens to be joining the family for the holiday dinner
and putting that hard earned money to a good cause. You have my full
respect because it is more than I have done in the past years. If it has
affected me you have inspired many. I think it's needed in this time of
gift giving. The auction yeilded so much, not only in money but
community.
Getting away from the preaching, KeLL got a glance at you site,
impressive. Jay, we are glad to see that life for you started with such
a jolt. Sometimes you have to be true to yourself to be happy with
others. Someone on a recent post asked if you can be happy and gay at
the same time. Well are you happy with yourself and the life you are
leading? Some people live in the closet, but some scream at the top of
their lungs. There are so many examples of the "happy", we're
growing in number everyday. Add Paul and Danny to your list. Amazing how
that works.
Take Care and Happy Holidays,
Paul
P.S. For all you European board addicts, we're planning a trip (about a
month long ) in the summer. Hitting some of my old stomping grounds. I
have to show Danny things I can only dream of now.
Just a short message...-Paul 12/10/2000

Hey all you board junkies (I refuse to fall prey), but low and behold I
am on here again. I've been reading your posts and give nothing but
thanks to those of you who have wished us well. What ever you are doing
it's working in overdrive. Danny and I are enjoying are relationship and
see nothing but the future for US. Thanks for the concern for our lives
and the military and even though it is a hard way to live, it's worth
all the work and then some. Anyway, we've never been known to take the
easy road.
About the negative comments on the rw9 roommates, I have a hard time
imagining myself saying anything about them, if you tell me what you are
referencing, I can clear that position up.
The auction is going in to its final minutes and the Virginia Highlands
Baptists Church is going to receive alot of support from all of you. I
personally thank you. If you want to check out the action just go to...
www.ebay.com and enter "real world danny" in the search block.
Take care and enjoy the holidays...
safely!

Jo from Germany...
What a great place, spent alot of time there and the Christmas season is
beautiful and cold. The polls are interesting to read, people write the
most unusual things. To each his own.
It was great to hear all the news on Kelley, we just spoke to her two
days ago. She didn't mention anything about the marriage, the pregnancy
or the new teaching job. Probably she is just waiting for the perfect
time to tell us.
The auction is on its last day, there has been so much support. Again if
you want to check it out, go to www.ebay.com and enter REAL WORLD DANNY
in the search block. ####, I sound like a used car salesman. The sweater
and the bowl mean alot to him and I think that the Virginia Highlands
Baptist Church needs the money more than he needs the
"things". Hope everyone is doing well, and the season is not
taking its toll on the pocket books. Remember thought over the dollar.
"It's hard to do, but why do anything easy?" Pathetic, it
smells like a forest with all the Christmas things we have. Take Care
and since Danny is gone, I will write soon.
Paul
A little info...-Paul
12/9/2000 16:03:38
Its good to see that the board is picking up and we are starting to
recognize all the regulars (you know who you are). Anyway the auctions
are going well and would just like to remind everybody that it's going
to a good cause. We would love to do the auction thing as long as we can
make money for the church, but like all good things, even this has to
come to an end. So far all the fans have raised in the neighborhood of
$4,000, incredible (if you want to check the things out go to
www.ebay.com and type in REAL WORLD DANNY in the search block). That Doc
Chey's Bowl and that damn grey sweater are earning a good penny.
We took a look at the website that's been posting on the board,
recommend that everyone check it out. Cracked me up seeing that picture
of Danny at 5, damn cute though. What is up with the feather? Moms do
the strangest thing. Hope everyone has a great holiday season and take
care of yourselves.
Paul
P.S. By the way Danny will be working in Las Vegas this week. Hopefully
I will not be a slave to this board. He is speaking at some schools in
Washington State (Centralia) and in January in Oregon (University of...
and Western Oregon University) and thats just the next two months.

Meeting anyone you ultimately get along with is difficult. Have you ever
considered, that if you are standing in a group of ten that three of
those people have had some experience that is right up the "gay
perverbial alley". By the way your the one gay person. Now out of
twenty... you do the math (that's hope).
The only people you will immediately have "some" idea about
are the extremes and very stereotypical (and even with that you take
your chance). People develop stereotypes from those who scream the
loudest, butso many are quit as mice (We guess, the ones you are looking
for). Stereotypical people have chosen to be that way because it is a
helpful tool to identify themselves ( like driving a mercedes to scream
"RICH"). Now that we have told you that going out and finding
someone compatible is next to impossible, we want to give you some light
at the end of the tunnel. We were at the end of our ropes and our
stories were very similar. We both were about to give up ever finding
the one, when low and behold... we did. We hate to sound
"typical" (we're not), it will hit you like a ton of bricks.
From the blind side, you know the one.
Take Care and Good Hunting,
Paul and Danny

unless someone else can provide a better argument!)

Hey all you boarders (addicts to say the least), Been entertaining
reading all the posts...interesting. We got all your messages read, some
of you need to stop the mud slinging. "Can'twe all just get
along?" All types come to the board young and old, I think those
with alot of experience can help those without. Growing up as kids, we
all could've used the help.
The speaking tours are going well and here are some of the futures...
1. Quinnipiac University,CT 3 FEB 01
2.Centralia College, WA 15 FEB 01
3. Western Oregon, OR 24 JAN 01
4.Rhode Island Univ., RI 20 FEB 01
5. "Say What..." Las Vegas TBA
Now if we butchered any of your schools or abbreviations for states
("apology insert here", its been a while since grade school).
Hope everything is going well for the holiday season. Remember celebrate
whatever you are into this month and celebrate safely (We're so
politically correct).
love (we cordially use this word),
